The Founders Project | Susie's House of Healing

In memory of Susan Mbawuike, we have launched a project called "Susie's House of Healing" to promote mental health in the workplace for people of color. Susan was a beloved friend, family member, and colleague who was an advocate for public health, mental health and diversity, equity and inclusion. We want to honor her memory by making a difference in the lives of others.

Our mission to raise awareness about the importance of mental health for people of color and provide resources and support to those who need it most.  We plan to create resources such as trainings, webinars and toolkits to specifically address the needs of people of color in the workplace. We also plan to connect people with providers of color that provide counseling and therapy services who may be struggling with mental health issues.

Research shows that people of color are more likely to experience discrimination, bias, and microaggressions in the workplace, which can have a significant impact on their mental health. By supporting this project, you can help promote a more inclusive and supportive workplace environment for people of color.

We know that mental health is an important issue that affects many people, and we believe that everyone deserves access to resources and support to help them cope with mental health challenges. By supporting this project, you can make a difference and help promote mental health awareness and support for people of color in the workplace.

Please donate what you can and share this campaign with your network to help spread the word. Together, we can create a more supportive and inclusive workplace for people of color and prioritize mental health as an important aspect of overall well-being in honor of Susan's memory.

Thank you for your support.
